OnePlus 5 will be launched on June 15 with dual rear camera

OnePlus 5 is expected to come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor and will have a front fingerprint sensor. These two features, as well as the name of the device, have all been confirmed by OnePlus Mobile officially. The flagship is also expected with a dual camera setup, 6GB of RAM and Android 7.1 Nougat. While initial leaks suggested several different designs, there seems to be some sort of consistency in the new ones.

OnePlus has confirmed that the device will be called the OnePlus 5, ditching the numeral 4, succumbing to superstitions in the Chinese culture. While there have been several leaks that suggest the similar design for the camera department, the bezel less design on the sides of the display has not been suggested with same rigour. The most unfortunate part about the latest leaked images is that the OnePlus 5 seems to be covered with some sort of skin or case, effectively hiding most of the design elements on the smartphone.

Apart from the Snapdragon 835 processor, OnePlus 5 is expected to feature a 5.5-inch QHD (1440×2560 pixels) display. The successor to OnePlus 3T has been suggested to come with 64GB built-in storage, which will be expandable via microSD card (up to 128GB).

Also, OnePlus recently hinted that the OnePlus 3T would be discontinued, further fueling speculations that the company is already preparing the ground for the OnePlus 5 launch.
