Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 has been spotted on a GeekBench benchmarking confirming some of the earlier leaked specifications.
In the GeekBench listing, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 got 1929 points in single-core test and in muli-core test it received 6431 points. A Geekbench database listing has revealed the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 will be powered by 1.90 GHz octa-core Snapdragon 835 chipset processor and 6GB RAM. The smartphone runs on Android Nougat OS based MIUI 9.
Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun confirmed that Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 to be launched later this year. He also revealed that Mi Mix 2 will be designed by the same French designer Philippe Starck who had designed the predecessor Mi Mix. Considering the fact that the Mi Mix was launched last year in November, we can expect that the Mi Mix 2 also to launch around the same time this year.
The Mi Mix released last year sported a 6.4 inch display which comprised of 91.3% of the screen and had an aspect ratio of 17:9. This time, rumors state that the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 will probably have a 93% screen to body ratio along with an increase in the aspect ratio.
Rumored to sport 6.4-inch dual curved AMOLED 2K display, the display design of Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 seems to be heavily inspired by the Samsung Galaxy S8’s infinity display.
